Awesome CodeSwissGov is a community-maintained list of open source projects published by Swiss federal and cantonal authorities. It follows the awesome list format and is updated on a rolling basis as new repositories are identified.

Purpose

Swiss public authorities are required under the Federal Act on the Use of Electronic Means for the Fulfilment of Government Tasks (EMBAG) to release software they develop as open source where possible. This list makes those releases discoverable in one place.

Contributing

To add a project, open a pull request against the repository with a link, a short description, and the publishing authority. Projects must be publicly accessible and maintained by or for a Swiss public body.
